Is Buyeketa free to use for reviewers?
Yes, completely. Creating an account and writing reviews will always be free. Buyeketa is for the community.
Can I review a business that's not listed yet?
If you can't find a business, you can suggest it using the 'Suggest a Business' link and we'll add it. Once it's listed, you can write your review.
What stops businesses from removing negative reviews?
Nothing. Business owners cannot delete reviews — they can only respond to them publicly. Our moderation team only removes reviews that violate our guidelines (spam, hate speech, or fake reviews), not simply negative ones.
How does a business claim their listing?
Search for your business, open its page, and click 'Claim this Business'. You'll fill in a short form and our team will verify your ownership — typically within 1–2 business days.
What does 'Verified Business' actually mean?
A verified badge means Buyeketa has confirmed that the business is real and that the person managing the profile is genuinely associated with it. It's not a quality rating — it just confirms authenticity.
Can I edit or delete my review after posting?
Yes, you can edit or delete your own reviews at any time from your profile page.
What if I had a bad experience and the business disputes my review?
Businesses can respond publicly to your review but cannot remove it. If a business reports your review, our moderation team reviews it against our guidelines. As long as your review is genuine and doesn't violate our policies, it stays up.
I own a business — do I have to pay to respond to reviews?
All paid plans (Trial, Growth, Standard, Premium) allow you to respond to reviews. Your Trial includes 5 replies per month so you can get a feel for it before committing.
Does Buyeketa cover businesses outside Mbabane?
Yes — we cover all regions of Eswatini, including Manzini, Hhohho, Lubombo, and Shiselweni. If a business exists in Eswatini, it can be on Buyeketa.
How do I report a fake or misleading review?
On any review page you'll find a 'Report' option. Flag it with a reason and our moderation team will investigate. We take review integrity seriously.
